“I feel the co-workers, supervisors and managers are like family. We feel like we are friends.” Samer, who featured in our Exhibition this year, has been working at IKEA since 2017.

We are so proud to work in partnership with IKEA to source meaningful employment opportunities for our refugee clients. More than 150 refugees have received support from the partnership between Breaking Barriers and IKEA, with 29 gaining permanent jobs.
