We are delighted to announce that our partners Grant Thornton UK LLP have been recognised as a 2020 Responsible Business Champion by Business in the Community for its efforts to support refugees into meaningful employment.
The award recognises Grant Thornton UK LLP’s long-term commitment to supporting Breaking Barriers clients through employability workshops and work placements.
Since 2018, our partnership with Grant Thornton UK LLP saw:
- 87 of our clients attend a workshop hosted by Grant Thornton UK LLP
- 126 Grant Thornton UK LLP employees contributed to 366 volunteer hours
- 100% of clients who attended a workshop said that their confidence had increased
