What is National Inclusion Week?

Founded by Inclusive Employers in 2013, National Inclusion Week is an annual event dedicated to celebrating inclusion and taking action to build inclusive workplaces. In 2026, National Inclusion Week takes place from 14-20 September.

This year, the National Inclusion Week theme is ‘Build Trust. Navigate Change.’ This recognises the changing reality many organisations are currently facing as they continue to seek meaningful progress on inclusion. For Breaking Barriers, it also echoes the journey of change for our clients as they strive to build new lives in the UK.

Why get involved?

National Inclusion Week offers organisations an opportunity to spark conversations, inspire thinking and drive action around inclusion throughout the workplace – from recruitment and training to leadership and culture.

The event is also a great opportunity to highlight the important work your organisation is doing to support workplace inclusion, including through your collaboration with Breaking Barriers.
