This page is a central hub for all our campaign activities, both past and present. It’s a place where you can discover how we’re campaigning to support refugees into meaningful employment, and find out how you can get involved in building a future where everyone can contribute and belong.

Art that transforms lives

Goal: Raise funds to support refugees into meaningful employment

We're partnering with Migrate Art to turn creativity into lasting support for refugees building new lives in the UK.

Buy the Camille Walala jigsaw, a beautiful 500-piece puzzle where 100% of profits are donated to Breaking Barriers, or shop limited edition prints of artworks by Rachel Whiteread, Stanley Donwood, Sarah Ball, and Jules de Balincourt, with 75% of each sale going directly to support our employment programmes.

This is art that doesn't just exist for its own sake, but actively transforms lives. Discover the partnership, the story behind the works, and how your purchase helps refugees find meaningful employment, independence, and hope.

My (Refugee) Life

Goal: To raise awareness of the challenges refugees face

The 'My (Refugee) Life' campaign placed refugees at the heart of their own narratives, with the documentary providing a platform for their voices to be heard authentically.

It moves the conversation away from abstract labels and towards a genuine understanding of the experience of seeking asylum in the UK, highlighting refugees' resilience, their aspirations, and our shared humanity.
