At Breaking Barriers, we want all refugees in London to gain the knowledge, confidence and experience in order for them to gain fulfilling and stable employment. Our unique approach ensures that refugees are found meaningful employment, allowing them to settle into their new lives here in the UK. In the last 12 months, we’ve supported over 1000 people of a refugee background, and with your help, we can support even more. That’s why, for the month of June, Breaking Barriers are taking part in the My Favourite Voucher Codes charity poll, and we need your support to help us win 20% of the site’s profits.
Who Are My Favourite Voucher Codes?
My Favourite Voucher Codes specialise in saving their users money whenever they shop online, but they’re also passionate about helping good causes. Since they launched in 2012, they have donated over £58,000 to over 100 different charities. Every month, they host a charity poll where four organisations compete for votes by visitors to the site. At the end of the month, the charity with the most votes wins 20% of the site’s profits. Every time a voucher code is used, the site makes a small commission at no extra cost to the consumer, and it’s through this that the donation to the winning charity is formed. This month, Breaking Barriers are delighted to be one of the site’s four charities taking part, and we need your votes!
How You Can Support Us
Supporting Breaking Barriers this June is incredibly simple and takes less than two minutes of your time. From the 1st of June, head over to My Favourite Voucher Codes, where you’ll find the poll on the right hand side. Simply select Breaking Barriers and click the red ‘vote’ button, and that’s it! You can vote for your chosen charity for free, and there’s no need to sign up to the newsletter or make a purchase with any of the site’s codes for you to take part. However, My Favourite Voucher Codes has thousands of offers from the UK’s favourite retailers, so it’s worth bearing in mind if you have any online shopping to do. If you do happen to make a purchase through the site, you’ll automatically be contributing to the donation amount we could receive if we win, plus you’ll be able to save money at your chosen retailer too. The poll is running up until the 30th of June, so any purchases made during the month will contribute to the final donation.
