This Ramadan, donate your Sadaqah to help refugees build a new life.
This Ramadan, donate your Sadaqah, or gift in solidarity, to help refugees find meaningful employment and build a new life.
As Muslims communities around the world come together to commemorate Ramadan through prayer and fasting, we know that many people from a refugee background in the UK will spend Ramadan in isolation, having already been forcibly displaced from their communities, families, and friends.
Breaking Barriers exists to help refugees – of all religions and none – overcome the practical and cultural barriers to finding work. We do so by providing one-to-one employment advice and guidance, education, and training.
Our community is full of potential. We have teams based in London, Greater Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Glasgow. In our last financial year, we supported over 1,100 refugees from 79 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Eritrea, Syria and Sudan.
But, to fulfil our vision that every refugee can access meaningful employment, we need your help.
This Ramadan, please help restore a sense of community for those who’ve faced the unimaginable. Your donation today could have profound and enduring consequences as you support refugees to build a new life.
Your Sadaqah, or donation in solidarity, will help provide 1:1 advice, education and opportunities so refugees can build new lives in the UK.
